I bought a truck from them in 2012. A 2006 Fuso. Bought unseen and they shipped it to the west coast. Up and Up. No problems. A little slow to respond to e-mails at times, otherwise no concerns.
Looks like there is quite some discussion about a camper on a FG. I finally completed mine. Here is a link to some of the pictures.

I just did what you are proposing with four wheel pop up camper. See the linK: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/89761-Building-a-overland-camper-on-a-Fuso-FG.

I should thank you. You were the one who turned me towards them at the overland expo show in 2012. If you remember my friend and me spent quite some time looking at your rig.
sunil
You are welcome to look over my camper. Just send me a note in med feb. I live near LAX.
I just had the fuel tanks replaced. I now have a 50 gallon tank with another auxiliary tank of 20 gallons for a total of 70 gallons. I also carry about 90 - 100 gallons of water. Fully loaded with full...
Sorry:
The truck is still not with me. It is at Atlas springs get a new suspension. Replacing the stock leaf springs with a custom made job and also a custom shocks with an external reservoir. I should have it back by about mid February.
At four wheel I dealt straight with the owner Tom...
Best of luck with the DMV. In California I had to register it as a commercial vehicle until the camper was actually placed on top of the bed. In addition they wanted to make sure it was welded to the bed and permanently fixed and could not be removed.
You might want to look at the thread I started. (Building a overland camper on a Fuso FG). I just went through a number of issues that you are facing.
I am not an engineer, and do not have the technical skills, so I had to resort to ready made solutions.
As to the SRW: I got a set of 17 "...
lifting
It took a little time to get used to the lifting mechanism for the roof. Once you get the technique right and you have released all the restraining latches it is not too difficult. There is strut but still takes a fair amount of manual power. Not too bad though. Good thing is there are...

The angle of the picture overstates the overhang in the back. It is about 24 inches from the end of the bed.
As to the house batteries I have a set of 4 deep cycle 6 volt batteries. Fully charged (by solar) they give enough power to air condition through the night. ( I have yet to test it...
The build is nearly complete. A few things are pending. We had to redesign the tire carrier and I am moving it to the front. Adding storage space over the rear bumpers for Jerry cans and also bicycle racks. In the process of doing trial runs and testing the systems out.
The truck was bought...
the product "Bare foot mistress?"
Here is a link to the final product. Most of the work is done. Still have some minor details.

Construction of the camper is ongoing. The truck now has super single wheels from Kym Bolton in Australia. Bumpers are being replaced. Aluminess in Santee is fabricating them. The camper work is being done by Four wheel campers in Woodland.
Next is installing the camper on the bed of the truck...
