I wrapped my Lifepo4 cells in an RV tank heater and wired it to temperature controller. Kicks on at 34 degrees and turns off at 40.
I have an Overkill Solar BMS with Bluetooth so I can monitor cell temps and turn on and off charge and discharge just in case.

Not Timbren specifically but I’ve had bearings give out on Dexter Torsion axles multiple times; if your driving at speed the wheel can bend the spindle and it’s a pain finding a replacement. Even with properly packed bearings, they can fail without warning.
Suggest bringing at least one spare...
Is there no power actually going to the pump or is the pump not operating? My trailer has a switch to turn on power for the pump, located by the hot water housing.

My understanding, and I could be wrong here…
LiFePO4 batteries can be safely charged between 0°C to 45°C meaning you can use the battery below freezing temps but if the batteries don’t have some type of heating system, they won’t take a charge if temps are below or above those numbers.

What upgrades have been performed since you purchased? Hard to tell what’s been done because you’re using the pics from the previous owners for sale add.

I’ve got propane on both sides, one bottle for the stove and one bottle for the hot water heater.
Ended up installing a diesel heater so I don’t have to worry about propane for that.

Water fill, water pump, and all the plumbing is on the passenger side…at least on mine. Seems like a huge hassle to switch it drivers side.
In my experience with the limited time I’ve spent in designated campsites, there’s really no specific way you have to park your trailer. I’ve also never...
Are you around this week, would love to take a look at the awning. Trying to figure out something for the back of my teardrop and have to make sure it’ll clear the rear hatch. I’m in Seattle…

I run a Chevy 1 ton dually stock with a 32 ft gooseneck. GCVW is roughly 28k lbs but I’m apportioned for 25,999 for tax purposes; generally I weigh in around 25k lbs. I have around 2000 pounds over the hitch and the remaining weight over the trailer tandems.
I’ve towed this setup roughly 8k...
Girlfriend being from Montana and my life basically revolving around fly fishing blue ribbon rivers, we spend most of our outside time in bear country. Started with a rooftop tent, then on to a RTT trailer, and now a SoCal teardrop.
We tend to store almost all dry goods, toiletries, and...
Sometimes there’s actually the opposite affect when pairing a truck that’s too big to a smaller trailer.
I was transporting travel trailers from Indiana to Tacoma, WA on a weekly basis driving a 1 ton Silverado dually. Any trailer I towed under 26 feet the ride was incredibly harsh and bouncy...
Glad you made it safely. Just don’t forget there are other people traveling down the same highways as you; it would be unfortunate for you to lose control of your overloaded vehicle and get in an accident. I’ve seen it happen countless times and unfortunately it usually affects other drivers...
