Latest Addition Finally got around adding solar to the camper. Added a 100 watt panel and a 15 amp MPPT charge controller. On a rare bright sunny day recently, I saw almost 6 amps from the controller. Seems to average about 4.8 ~5.0 amps in the winter sun. I'll be interested in how it does...

They're still available, but also give ATC a call. The lift panels are identical and I think you'll save some money at ATC.

Presently there's no additional weight on the roof, but by the end of the week there will be a 100 watt solar panel. It weighs 19 lbs so shouldn't be a significant load. Here's another version, a Scepter can mounted on my Grandby. It didn't require any special mounts or fabrication. I removed the ice box and used a stud finder to locate the aluminum frame. Then drilled the can mount to match the frame. I used 5/16 bolts through the frame and backed with a...

I know about the heater thing, after I froze my parts off in Death valley, I had the boys over at ATC install a factory heater. Hot H2O is easy with the microwave.....wait...maybe it's me that's gone soft :)
