I think as "overlanding" has become more mainstream, it has attracted a lot of people that are "car guys" (or gals) first, and travelers second. They probably take just as much if not more more interest in building a rig with all the coolest parts than they do using it, though I'm sure it varies...

I hadn't really considered the Habitat, as it always seemed a bit fiddly to set up and not super weather resistant. I do love the massive amount of sleeping space though. I need to look into it a little more and see if it would fit my needs. Where are you located/what are you asking for it?
