Sounds reasonable. 8.6 is a pretty robust size for a rear end. If the shafts are no different in the AXN it sounds pointless to swap them out.
That’s for the response!
Thank you! I was c searching used car parts and some nnbs 1500s popped up as options hence my confusion.
Any thoughts on the h2 rear axle? I know it’s 2” longer and 8 lug but it’s also available with an e locker.
I did the search function but since AXN is too short a term to search I got frustrated. Here I am. lol
What years tahoe/burb with the AXN option are a direct bolt in to gmt 800s?
I’m familiar with the Escalade swaps but I’m seeing that later model AXN axles are more easily available and some...
Agreed. That’s why Id really like to keep both underhood batteries in addition to the lithium house battery. Just making sure here that the BlueSea unit doesn’t create some conflict with the solar controller.

I loved Bonnaroo before it went cooperate and ESM. I could see NIN and Jay Z in the same fest. I don’t hate EDM but I’m more into the hippie vibe. I’m old. [emoji23]

Blue sea system...
I've searched and can't find a quality write up installing a 2500 diff in a 1500. All I seem to findis the "just SAS it" answer when I ask anyone.
You wouldn't have links to a write up would you?
I put in for the 20th off to ride up for lobby day. It's going to be intense. Local gun stores are chartering busses for the trip.
No offense to Cali when I say this... But they've not tried this mess on the south. Our culture, is a different animal altogether.
Hopefully we'll stop it in it's...
I'm as happy with the final product as I could possibly be. They fit well on both sides and add a ton of usable storage space. They do flex a little as should be expecteced with panels this size but not to the detriment of their function. I don't know if there's an official working load...
