Wow...What an obscure option for the straight walls...no illustration or picture comparison option....I visited 3 ARE dealers, and the straight walls we're even mentioned ....as if the dealers were unaware......
Have to agree on the rack with the air deflector...My intention is to mount two 100 watt solar panels, along with traction boards...There are several aluminum racks to choose from...My biggest disadvantage is the 4 cyl. with A/T, but I knew this going in so, every ounce counts...Your pics are...
Did you do any suspension mods? - like adding helper springs in the rear ?, which was my thought....Give the load factor to be around 1000-1200 lbs. I can't imagine to exceed that with a DCU, along with all the necessities, to include a small generator & fuel....then the only other heavy item...
Very nice....kinda like what I had in mind...Trying to figure out the interior..was it a basic shell then you insulated & paneled it?.... Did you carry any spare gas in cans? that was my reasoning for the rear bumper with swing arms to carry the Rotopaxs...Found a real sweet Aluminess but its...
Nice....The pull out kitchen drawer is awesome....The shell/cap looks like a home made build....Can you share a few more pics, & tell a little about it?....Thanks

'highdesertlandworks' - That was my thought exactly...I believe there's a huge benefit from a water/dust leak standpoint, as once that end panel is installed, it no longer has to move so the seal can be permanent... What brand & style did you get?
Making a long story short..In 2014 I bought a new Access Cab 4X4 base model 4 cyl A/T .... with the intent of retiring & doing a cross counrty trip with perhaps an Alaskan detour... Since then life has changed & the truck is in the garage with 3000 miles....Now I'm once again getting ready for...
