Gen 1 Tundra Front Wheel Bearings

AFAIK, yes the later lower control arms do fit as others have done the change over. I don’t think the upper ball joint changed as none of the aftermarket upper control arms have a year breakout. They are all the the same part number. Yes, yes it is. Crazy how much you can change/fix… Jack

Thank you. Harbor Freight Titanium 170 (running 220v) with their spool gun. I find I’m welding better with it than I did with my old Miller 210. It’s been a great little welder. Jack

Here are the interior framing pictures. I used a spool gun, so my welds aren’t as clean/nice as OvrLnd’s TIG welded joints. Let me know if anyone would like anything else. Jack

Thank you. I havent taken too many photos as we did the cannonball run to Flagstaff and back. Then it’s been in the garage pretty much since while building the rear wall and building out the interior. We did camp in it the first night on our way back from Flagstaff.

They made it with the standard rear hatch with my tailgate in place. I removed all of that and built the rear wall and framed out for the door. Jack

Wrapped up a little modification to my newly purchased OvrLnd camper on my 1st gen Tundra. I ordered it with the rear hatch as I planned on removing it along with the tailgate as well. I went back and forth on whether to build my own door or just purchase one. As you can see, once I made some...

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

I ended up kinda splitting the replacement in two if you will. First one is a JK that I built to do both camping and a little rock crawling. Second one is a 2003 Dodge 2500 Cummins, that lived in a garage its whole life and had 21k miles When we picked it up two years ago. Has 48k now after...

    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

I apologize for the loss of the pictures; I cancelled my subscription to Smugmug, so the pictures (links) disappeared with it. If there was anything specifically you were looking for, I still have all of the pictures saved. Thank you, it really was an incredible build. We still miss it to this...
