We sleep in the same quarters, however only use the propane tank to run a water heater for hot showers when rear doors are open (Ford E250). For warmth we use a Planar (run it on kerosene) heater that sits outside the van when in use, i.e. no combustion inside the van.
Yes. It took indisputable data. I first tried using a "local" authorized service center with no luck. It was incredibly frustrating; I saw some of the email exchange between the authorized service center and Dometic and it was childish and pathetic. There are no other words to describe the...
Depends on the intended use of the radio. I like the software and on-board programming capabilities of the Wouxun 935G Plus, charging options, as well as all the extra available channels.
For a good comparison with another radio with the same intended use, watch his "Midland GXT67 Pro VS Rocky...
Unless prevented by weather, all our cooking is outdoors. Backup for bad weather is hot water from an electric kettle and a meal prepped inside a Backpacking Food Cozy Feed Bag. Nobody, including the dogs, would want to be in the van if I used a porta potti inside the van.
We run a Planar Portable Diesel Air Heater Planar 2D-12V on kerosene instead of diesel. The lowest setting at 18F ambient is still enough to keep the van warm.

L-Tracks anchor the Campo bags.
Fans installed to help keep the inverter cool.
Dometic barely uses any electricity and compressor is really quite. It can run for days on fully charged Li's. Van also has solar to keep the Li's charged. Upgraded alternator lets me run a 12k BTU Nomadic AC off the...
Lots of good feedback about what and why it happened, and how it could have been prevented. Here’s a comment from a different perspective. I can personally vouch for emergency room wait times. I nearly lost my right eye, went to the ER early in the evening and had to wait until 3:30 a.m. the...

Check out Trail Kitchens in Truckee, CA. We had their stuff shipped to a local shop that built out our E250 interior, before shipping to UJOR a couple of years ago. Lot's of options.
