I've had many offers to buy these drawers over the years - and now is your chance! As my wife an I look to our next adventure vehicle, we have decided to part with this drawer system. It has treated us incredibly well for years and I hope we can find a happy new owner for them...
It was originally 1/8" per side, which was way too sloppy. I immediately added a 1/16" spacer to tighten things up. That is the white strip that is shown in a few of the shots. If I was to build it again today, I would only allow 1/32" per side. But that means that your margin for error in...
Hmm ... What would I change exactly? Not much.
Although I am very pleased with the outcome of the project, my skills have advanced over time and I have access to better machinery now. There are simple joinery revisions that I would make. Not that they would be any stronger, but a bit more...

The idea of using the tank to hold hot water was thrown around briefly, but the reality is that we need cold water far more frequently than hot water. The system is still holding up well but we still need to implement the new auxiliary pump for the coolant loop.
