It's not mine, and I am not affiliated to the seller, but I saw it on the street here in Valdez, AK and thought it looked cool with the background. So, I took pictures. It is priced at $32,000. That seems kind of high, but I do not know what classics like this fetch these days.
Welcome to Valdez, Alaska!
Very beautiful town.

A random stop by the oil pipeline
For those still on the fence whether they should get up and...
Two days ago, I checked into my hotel at 4 pm. I got bored because there was nothing to do and the room could not get dark enough for me to go to sleep and so I decided to leave at 11pm to drive for 12 hours throughout the night to my next destination. It was quite an adventure.
The night drive...
Thanks for the compliment about the pictures.
I have also seen that people are very comfortable here and will camp anywhere. Any pull out on the Alaska Highhway seems like a good place to camp.
The drone has always had a maximum height of 0.3 of a mile. But before I left for this trip, there was an update from the manufacturer that I did and now the drone can go as high as 0.6 mile. Basically, it used to disappear in the sky with 0.3 of a mile. Now at 0.6 of a mile, I do not even want...
I drove from Watson Lake to Haines Junction today. Here are some pictures I took al9ng the way today.
I think Alaska is a bucket list destination for many people by road. I mean, I started counting these bikes today, coming from Alaska, and I stopped counting after 35. I was like, wow. Why are...
I drove from Dawson Creek to Watson Lake. Absolutely no cellphone service during my drive. I did not like it. If someone has an accident or a breakdown on this stretch of road, it would be a really long time before you get any help, so drive very carefully on this road. There are very few cars...
The highlight of my trip today was meeting this guy called Michael.
I first saw Michael on a YouTube video where a YouTuber who was driving on this same Alaskan Highway saw Michael walking and so pulled over and talked with him. Well, here I was doing 65 mph going down a hill and into a curve...
I bought my Accord brand new in 2020. 3 months later I decided to go on a long road trip where I was going to be driving a lot on Route 66. So, I decided to put stickers of the number 66 on my car. Also, I have my CB radio that I always put on my car for any road trip.
During that road trip, I...
The next stop was a visit to the Kiskatinaw Curved Bridge. The posted sign says it is closed, but it simply means closed to the flow of traffic on it.
It is open for people to visit it. I went there and had a great time walking back and forth on the bridge and taking a lot of pictures. Here...
Great 7 hours drive today. Driving the speed limit of 65 mph on this road, my Accord does great with gas mileage. It is very helpful when the price of gas is very high in these parts of the country. So, I like that the speed limit is only 65 mph here in Canada and most of Alaska. That just means...
Random pics on my way to Dawson City today.
How did they come up with the name of this town called Sexsmith?
And this sign was in Dawson City. I do not fully understand what it means, but I am sure it is funny.
I was very impressed today with the gas saving performance of My 2020 Accord Hybrid.
My drive today was from East Glacier Park in Montana to Fort Saskatchewan in Alberta. A journey of 429 miles, which took me 6 hours 30 minutes to complete. The speed limit was 70 mph. My average speed was 65...
I stopped an hour ago to buy some Jerry Cans at Princess Auto in Calgary. I saw this rig and took some pictures of it. The Jerry Cans are for sale. If anyone needs one or more, I may be able to deliver on my way back to Texas. I plan to buy at least 10.
I left my hotel at 6 am this morning and got to the border at 6:50 am. I saw this sign that says the border opens at 8 am. I almost made a u-turn when I saw border patrol agents on both sides of the border-crossing moving their vehicles and opening the gate. At 7am, the RV ahead of me crossed...
I had a great day today visiting Glacier National Park. Since I did not have a reservation for the park, I had to leave my hotel at 4:30am to get into the park at 5:30am before the park staff show up at 6am to start asking people for their park reservations.
The weather was great and the sun...
I went to Mt. Evans today. You could drive only for 9 miles up to Summit Lake. The remaining 6 miles, which has the very scary switchbacks, was closed because of road work. I still had a good time driving the part that was open to traffic.
