I would put it back on the frame asap!
You'll be surprised how easily IG contorts. When putting my tub back on the frame it was pretty hard and that was before doing any modifications to the tub at all. Once I finished all my mods I will pull It again and paint
Ahhh it appears you have a bantam trailer not a 416. The bantam tubs are not removable as far as I know. The 416 can be completely disassembled.
So in that case youll probably just have yo flip the whole upside down to work on the bottom.

Since you made you tailgate so wide I don't really have any suggestions on where to mount the struts. If the tailgate was a little smaller the typical place is the mount it on the rear onto whatever side of the tailgate you plan on mounting the hinges for the lid. With enough strength (in the...
So I have a pretty big update that will help out alot of people with these old beat up m416 tubs, now I know most of you have tried to straighten the tub sides out by using angle iron but all that is really accomplishing is Covering over the bent side.

today i took the day off and spent most of it in the garage working on my nerf bars. i was able to knock out one side completely and ill continue on the other side and the top rail tomorrow. it was a ver fulfilling day and im very satisfied how they turned out
Today I covered a lot of ground with my trailer Now that my 4runner is getting some Fab work down at a buddys shop I didn't have that as a distraction.
I did some dent removal and then I just couldn't help but start on my tailgate mod. Everything is just tacked now and I still want to add a few...
One thing I've been trying to wrap my head around is are you planning on charging your battery thru the trailer harness or are planning on doing it thru a desperate 4 gauge wire that you will disconnect along with the trailer harness?
