    Front LSD for FUSO

Free wheeling hubs are not necessary to be able to run on the road / highway as the centre acts like a normal diff. It only locks (if you want to call it that) when it is powered as in 4WD and one wheel starts to spin. For us we drive in 2WD hubs unlocked on really good road / highway. Go to 4WD...

    Front LSD for FUSO

Best left to Alan to answer but I would think "traditional diff with locking ability". Dan.

    Front LSD for FUSO

My opinion is the "Torsen front diff centre" is of more use to general running around because it is there all the time and works really well when you are running on loose gravel and in mud - probably snow. The locker is more suited to hard core use as in climbing over rocks as such and when it...

Happy New Year - Goodbye 2016

I've been watching along quietly but yes We (my wife and myself) wish everyone a bright and prosperous New Year. We do Bulburan National Park and free camp at a little private creek overnight then do Krombit Tops National Park the next day. Let us know if we can help in any way. May even be...

LOW BATTERY FUSO CANTER PROBLEM EXHAST BRAKE

Okay I'll start. If the battery is the original one as in new in 2009 then it is probably at it end and should be replaced with a new one as it didn't seem to charge enough with the runs that you have done with it. It looks like it won't hold it's charge any more. Do you have a check engine...

LOW BATTERY FUSO CANTER PROBLEM EXHAST BRAKE

I would have commented earlier but had hoped that someone with a later Canter answered. As Kerry has said that on the earlier Canters the exhaust brake is operated by a Vacuum Cylinder mounted to the exhaust brake unit (I'm hopeing the same on later Canters) but there is an electrical solenoid...

    Advice on getting it up😳

It's just too steep on that angle so I'll decrease the angle for you to make it better. Yes less pressure in the tyres and try to crawl it up would be my choice. Dan.

FG Gearbox Upgrade 5 to 6 speed

Typo for what. The motor is a 4D35 4.6 litre (same as 4D33 but with larger bore non-turbo as standard) the same as a Rosa Bus. The gearbox is a 6 speed out of a Rosa Bus and looks like parts are available to fit the 2 speed transfer case. So standard from Japan I can see that. There was an...

FG Gearbox Upgrade 5 to 6 speed

Can not see why it can't be done. Yes it would probably need an adapter plate to mount transfer case and a new rear shaft made. Someone supply me with a gearbox and I'll get it done and fitted to my Canter. That way we will know it works. Just another Gear to Change, Dan.
