I broke the belts in the sidewall of mine but I think that was more operator error than a tire issue. I nailed a head sized rock with that tire hard enough to bend the lip of the rim and for some reason the 7 yr old tire broke.

I started with some potatoes and onions in a pan with a little oil and then added the soyrizo.
Once the soyrizo cooked for a while and became less gross looking I added the happy eggs.

it is possible to get a carbed model after 85. mines an 87 and has the 22r. i think it was just the base model though, i mean I even have manual steering.
I believe GM pledged to support Isuzus for 8 years so you should be able to get parts through them, assuming the recent bailouts work and GM doesn't go under.
I have Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers attached to Sideloaders. They're brackets designed to let you mount a rain gutter-type rack on your camper shell. I just attached them to the inside of the bedsides.
