I've had multiple KTM's dating back to 2003, the 890 Adventure R being one of them. As far as Enduro's and Adventure bikes go they are one of if not the best in multiple areas. Worst issue I've ever had on any of them was a leaky master cylinder which was replaced for free out of warranty mind...

I know they went back to the CP3 in 2021, that's why I waited for the '21's to hit the lot before I purchased back then. For now make sure you're buying good diesel from reputable stations with a high turnover and drain your fuel filters once a month.

Congrats on the truck, diesels have a way of getting down in your soul. I am surprised that they don't have a larger tank on the long bed, I obviously don't remember what mine was on the '21 long bed 3500 I sold last year lol. First thing I'd be looking into for that truck is a CP3 conversion...

There's no way in hell I'd buy a gasser dually in todays market. No engine brake, screaming RPM's and worst of all, absolute crap resale value. Stick to the diesel for this use.

Fantastic upgrade! I’ve been toying with a Casita or an Oliver myself, do an axle flip and some KO2’s, give a slightly beefier look for tugging down gravel/dirt roads. Major difference in build quality and finish out but a major difference in price too lol. Can I ask what you got for the Casita...
