Agree. I had been considering and researching the setup for a couple years before I commited. Haven't looked back since. It is a great way to store everything in permanent places; very little loading and unloading at home. Food, clothes, personal gadgets, and go.

So so true, about the short service body sides. Makes for a perfect camper fit and lowers the weight some. Mine only needs about 2" of flooring spacing to nicely clear the camper over the service body sides.
2005 F-450 x-cab 4x4 with 8' Pacific service body, and Starcraft pop-up camper. LOVE IT!! The permanent storage is awesome. Would not go back to a regular bed for a camper again.
I have not. Had a couple vehicle projects to get in order, a job change, then some out of town (flying) trips to do. In Vegas right now for work. Whew. Been busy.
