I keep watching this Montero video

I didn't make the video but I bent a draglink not a panhard rod, he asked me what the carnage was at the end of the day and I guess that's what I said when I rattled off the list. I did hit my stock panhard rod, I don't think it got bent much though. Also the 3.15 T-case and Detroit front...

    1998 Montero Transmission

I've been getting a VSS code every now and then P0500, I believe Hooots had the same code. I've gotten it twice in about a year but I'm swapping T-cases and will have to do speedo work anyway so I'm not going to fix the issue.

CSF Radiator Leaking After 2 Years

Always have the Mitsu radiator rebuilt if possible, my CSF lasted 1 year exactly the length of the warranty. Also the aluminum 1 row is a waste of money, it barely fits and will probably get destroyed with a little good offroad. The CSF is very thin copper/brass and probably isn't worth having...

Is This a Genuine OEM Mitsubishi Idler Arm?

Pop the cap off of the top, if it has a snap ring it is a Mitsubishi part if not you've been had. I've taken apart every idler arm I could find recently and only the genuine ones are serviceable.

Aisin TKM-003 Timing Belt Kit Opinions

NTN is the official Mitsubishi tensioner, and Aisin is the pump. The part in the mitsu bag has NTN cast into it, the pump says Aisin at least for the 3.5. The Mitsu tensioner for my 3.8 might have been blank, bought from Mitsubishi for $40.
