Thanks for the Link! After burning through many of the cheap Duracell plug in 2 amp chargers it makes more sense for me to buy the more expensive Blue Sea part. I keep seeing Blue sea mentioned a lot when it comes to parts for these expo builds.

Correction on the Astro i was looking at. It is a 1999 with a G80 rear diff in it. However the engine doesnt sound all that healthy so i am probably going to pass on it and focus on my 1980 Chevy G20 to build a 2wd expo van. It already runs on 235/75R15 tires so that side of things is already...

Nice upgrades! Could always stay dual alt to support any additional electrical add ons to the truck later on. Or perhaps use it to keep a "house" bank of batteries charged for additional electronics
