I would suggest start sourcing a replacement motor before you spend real cash on this mechanic's special. I did a similar deal couple years ago and getting a replacement was much harder than anticipated, though I ultimately did one that I pulled out a Monty that had been rolled. Why losing a...
Nice Jeep (from the description), but you can't list it here without a price. So what is your min? Have you considered listing on AEV's forum? They have the same pricing rules as this forum does.
Also, sorry but your photos did not load. Possibly too large?
This sounds like my idea of a dream...
Um...its the same. You load the map layer you want, click the + button on top, and "Create Route" and then enter your points. There should be a blue dot that shows up as you locate the points, and then press and hold to convert to a waypoint, give it a name, and move on to the next one.
I Have no idea what you are talking about. See my attached screenshot. The red pins are manually entered waypoints. They read okay to me. Perhaps the map you are using overpowers them graphically? Another program function that will help you is the routing function. The system will show a...
Land Cruiser is always the answer to this question. Given your comment about "space" I am assuming something like a tall 4Runner (aka: Lexus GX470) is not big enough. That leaves you with the Land Cruiser or Lexus LX470
Another thought, there is a small metal pin that holds the crankshaft gear in time. Don’t mess that up. I accidentally drove that pin into the gear and had to replace the whole thing. Search my username on here and you’ll find a few threads related to engine rebuilds and timing belt jobs...
X2 on the sensors and seals. Might also think about replacing the little O-rings on the injectors. Those get brittle and are easy to replace. If you haven’t read it elsewhere, lots of hate on using 3rd party timing belt tensioner. If you can afford it, go for OEM for the tensioner. It might...
My personal approach is based on time/age of photo. My image library is about the same size as yours. I have a network storage device that serves as the hub and final resting place for everything (https://www.lacie.com/products/big/2big/). Everything is filed by Year and then Month and/or...
FWIW, I just bought a pair of light gauge steel OEM Rock Rails for a JLU for $100 off Craigslist, and found several other pairs available as well. I saw prices from $80 to $400. These are the factory sliders. Not great, but not expensive!
Savvy makes all aluminum products, include a stout pair of sliders for the JKU, would have to call about the JLU

SoCal always seems to have a few. I'm not a fan of FB Markethole, but the Montero group on Facebook is super helpful and might be able to track one down. LetGo might also be a decent source if you can get it to let you search outside your immediate area. The iOS app "CPlus for Craiglist" does...
Dude, the Montero world lives in a very small pool, and you just pee'd in it.
Secondly, maybe you haven't heard, but there is a new President, and he kinda dorked up a bunch of stuff on Jan 20th by signing a slew of Executive Orders that absolutely can impact businesses beyond what may have...

I tried to buy used engines for my 2002 Montero (3.5L) and got ripped off twice, I lost thousands of dollars in the process. I would suggest NOT going that route. Unless you see it in front of you, can touch it, and and can walk away with it at that moment, it's just a phantom.
Ultimately I...
