So because *you* think it's okay and "should be fixed" with power seats, no one else can say the seating position isn't good? Or... does the fact that he and I agree on our opinions from being in both trump your single example?

    Increasing Tacoma's GVWR

Didn't the 200 come out after the Tundra? I can't remember. I assumed that the 200 was based on the Tundra (say, from the B-pillar forward), but may be wrong.

Warning if you're considering Tepui LoPro3

You're more hung up on painting the company as liars than you are anything. If all it was about was informing, then a simple "I ordered this tent thinking that I could fit it into my apartment complex because of it's advertised height of closing down to as little as 7". I couldn't get mind to...

Warning if you're considering Tepui LoPro3

Actually, it *IS* a "don't like it, return it" situation. Would have taken 2 minutes upon installing to go "uh... numbers are different, so it's clearly not going to work...." and started the return. Or you can focus your time on being right instead of correct... whatever floats your boat.

Warning if you're considering Tepui LoPro3

no dog in this hunt... But it appears that the tent isn't properly folded in the pic you provided. And the tape is wrapped a bit around the bottom, exaggerating the measurement. Don't like it? return it.

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

Totally forgot about the 1st wave of tailgate issues. I remember the redesign that was supposed to fix it, and IMHO, did minimize it, in mid '08, IIRC.

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

Tell ya what. You're right. You win. Ignore the multitude of threads about it... Shoot, even Fourwheeler Mag mentions it. That's fine. Because you're right.

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

the T100 and 86-95 HIlux used essentially the same frame. Sure, minor differences, but the rails are almost identical. I've owned both. It's not like this is an unknown situation. Here's some detail for you. https://www.clubfrontier.org/threads/frame-comparisons-vs-titan.340154/...

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

The trucks (Frontier/Titan) are not that different in size... It's a statement I've read numerous times in Nissan articles... Look at the T100/Hilux - basically the same frame... and about same size difference.

    2002 Tacoma Build

no replacement for displacement. I ran 4.88's on 32x11.50/15's on a 1990 reg cab for a couple of years. I loved that truck (other than lack of AC). Was a great combo. Sold it to a buddy who ran that combo into the ground. /I've owned waaaay to many vehicles

    2002 Tacoma Build

for a 5-speed, I do not disagree. For an auto, I absolutely disagree. I think 3-3200 RPM is a sweet spot for the 3.4 @ cruise... So I'd again argue that I a person could do 5.29's w/o an issue (in an auto)
