They are a lovely fridge but is does not surprize me because Dometic never fixed the design fault instead they just told people not to plug in both leads, Every other fridge has a useable Ups system but it does not work on the CFX3 range, The previous CFX model was much better and worked correctly.
This is a very common issue with a lot of fridges, Every Snomaster I have owned Does it and to make sure it was normal all the others they had in stock I checked them too and they all did it but No ARB should not do it at all, and if it does then the mountings have come loose inside and it will...
Try and rig up a 12v Headlamp Bulb to a Cigar plug and use that to drain it down, It will do 2 things, 1) it will show if there is power there and 2) it does not have any electronics dictating how it operates,
hope that helps.
It don't matter what they call it I still call em Powerpacks,
According to the Dictionary the word "Solar" it says " relating to or denoting energy derived from the sun's rays. " These powerpack can only store the power collected from the sun via a Solar Panel. Or a 12v outlet or and AC...
Solar Generators are better than a fixed system, But saying that a fixed system still has loads of uses, its just that solar generators are so portable and charge so fast that a person can afford the scale down their power bank, I love em.
I love that I can take them anywhere be it upstairs or down and from vehicle to vehicle and from vehicle to tent or Boat, and they charge in just a couple of hours and they are not an unsightly mess. I will be buying 1 or 2 more in the future,
Having a second battery in a vehicle is a good...
No the OP came here to warn people about the lack of help he recieved from Jackery Products Even though he was willing to pay for their Time and Skills, even though they don't exist.
And here you are barraging anyone who does not accept your Holier than Thou negitivity,
Here's a "Reality...
I don't hate them just their service, Their 1000w version is one of the best all rounders on the market,
I always put mine on the floor behind the Drivers seat in the Vehicle that way it can't fall any lower, (y)
Yeah And??
He is right, If it was designed better it would of survived and 2 ) if he stowed it correctly it would not of happened, So he is correct 2 for 2.
Get a few things Straight,
It was not your Jackery So he does not have to justify any thing to You,
And he is right, They are Crap...

Thats because others don't know enough on the subject so their only option is to take shots at those who do to justify their existance.
You just paying the price for being Smarter than the average bear, ;)
I don't think so,
If you crash your car there are people who will fix, If your TV or Fridge or washing machine breakdown there are people who will repair them So why should products in this catagory not have the same level of service ??.
That might be so but they won't fall off in a hurry, I also bought the 16"+ Crimping Tool. But seeing as I was using a thinner gauge wire Soldering was the best Option.
Normally I would of just used the Crimps but 6AWG does not fill half of the hole in the 50A Sockets and seeing as everything...
It would appear so,
They got off to a bad start when all their early products were not voltage regulated then they fixed that and jacked up their prices and then In car charging or Charging whilst in use was a myth back then, Thing is Bluetti/PowerOak and Dometic are better products,
I'm glad I paid extra and bought the Dometic versions, It says in the Manual that the housings are "Shock, Heat and UV Resistant". Not to mention their cycle life,
