ugg, sorry mang. is everything else other than drive lines all wrapped up??
that old chevy is awesome. if it was mine, i would have had a body outline sketched around that stain somehow, lol.
just spent 4 days riding on the teton pass. van rocked us up and down all weekend like a champ, our 47+ year old bodies didn't hold up quite as well...
is that heater pan designed to go on outside of pan? ive never seen a setup like that before, but then again, ive never given it much thought either, lol.
there has been at least one person figure out a lsd for the awd crv tranny, but ive never heard of anyone figuring out a rear lsd for it...
definitely true, but a high hp, lightweight, fun-mobile will bring out more of someones inner dip**** than a heavy, lethargic, no hp having slug-mobile will.
I just bought 16x9 wheels with 4.5" of backspacing and I needed flares to keep it from looking like a roller skate. I would think 0 backspace would give you a lot of exposed tire.
damn, I have no idea what that is, but you might post up how big/long it is. it appears from the pic to be to large to even fit down the dipstick tube. good luck...
they are fun as **** to race at rallyx, even bone stock. I can see where they would be a lot of fun in the woods too, but unfortunately the irresponsible ************** that own them with the here hold my beer and watch this attitude have where they are allowed in my area reduced to very little. so...
oh no, there was never any doubt in my mind. i would do the same, but ive never built anything that looked that good underneath when i was done. im a huge advocate of using your toys for what you built them for! if you didnt, id be let down. some people are into projects for the build, then sell...
just missed a nice white mt 00 ex by one day dammit...gotta call back today and see if the chick who put down a deposit was able to get her loan.
I had a set of those bilsteins a while back. no complaints, but wanted something a little softer for the dd and got the adjustable gr2's. they worked...
nice little wagon! know a girl with that grill on hers and the local suby guys go nuts over it. apparently its kinda rare or something. those are my favorite wheels too. just sucks they never came in the 5x114 pattern.
not too many 4wd Toyotas that aren't capable offroad, but I don't honeslty know anything about these rigs or your 03 tj. however I can tell you that any replacement part from Toyota will command large fees. even more if you can only get it from the lexus dealer. id always check to see if its a...
imo, if you still rallyx id say buff it out for that. it can always double as a secondary off road vehicle if you need it to with that setup. if not sell it to another needy person and focus your money on rigs you still love and can improve for family travel. stuff like recovery gear, additional...
have you looked into k-sport coilovers? they offer a gravel setup for stage rally and the 3-4 people ive talked to that are running them are very happy with the setup. one guy I spoke with had 3 seasons of stage rally without any issues at all and he typically does 5-6 events per year. that's...
Very cool! Looked through every honda thread I could find but somehow missed this one. Cool to see someone using a crv in this application rather than just parking lot off-roading. What kept you from lifting it? Just got really bad angles on axles? Were they making noise?
I've been screwing...
nice, great idea!
i plan on getting something like this.
just need to figure out which brand will allow the cap part of the hat to fit through. that way i can hold numerous hats that wont stack along with other misc. crap.
