HIgh-way and Light off-road tire recommendation

I've had nothing but good experiences with both of the Wildpeak AT3w and Cooper AT3 tires on my trucks. The Discoverer is lighter weight and quieter, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit better on MPG too. I like the Wildpeak better in the winter, although the Discoverer AT3 performed well...

Total composite style campers and heater choices?

That's what I was thinking, it depends on what reduces the number of fuels I'm carrying. I'd go for a Webasto gas heater with my gas truck to not carry a 3rd fuel. Otherwise I'd do propane because I already cook with propane and am in the States and have no problem finding propane.

Talk to me about insulated canvas

We have an OVRLND vertical pop-up with an add-on liner, similar to what FWC has. We actually use it most in the winter and summer. Besides trapping heat for colder temps decently, it really makes a big difference when you can't avoid direct sunlight. So much more comfortable working in our...

    Gladiator Rubi vs Gladiator Mojave

Not the complete story, Sport with Max Tow is around 7650 lbs of towing, Rubicon with tow package is 7000lbs towing. I believe the Mojave can get up to 6000. Rubicon you can also use the rear locker in 4 high, it's just not as advertised, I think that was change post first year. My '22 JTR rear...

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

Thanks, always good to hear real world experience. We haven't decided, we've been thinking of a larger camping setup though. We actually just got a utility trailer (AT Chaser), that would solve our specific trip space/payload needs, buuuut our '22 Gladiator just developed the Pentastar lifter...

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

With your flatbed, how long of a bed did you do? How much of that length does the forward garage take up? We've been thinking about going back to a full-size light duty and doing something similar flatbed-wise + OVRLND. Probably with a 6' flatbed on a short bed chasis. Originally I was thinking...

Sweet build! Did you do any different control arms with the 2" lift? If so how do you like what you went with? With the Methods, so you remember the offset? Any rub or trimming needed? I know Ford opened up the wheel wells more in '20+ but generally F150s usually had a nice amount of space already.

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

Thanks! Mostly from my past misadventures :) I was a bit lighter setup on the rear when I had my 3rd gen so can't help you there, just had a commercial extended top Lear, and recovery+tools I was around 300lbs in the rear, I had the Stage 2 Deavers (Stage 3 Icon hardwear/shocks). Doing...

Great looking build out! 1) I ran Airspring Airbags for a while in my Gladiator which has a rear coil linkage, YMMV. They handled great, limited my articulation some, but were awesome if you vary in load carrying a ton. Really appreciated them when I was doing "truck things" like hauling...

Fisker Files For Chap 11 Bankruptcy Today

Haha, I like the R1Ts but so true. We have quite a few around Bozeman now, but I don't see them out on the back roads and certainly not trails here. Of course I also don't see many of the heavily modified Wranglers, Gladiators, and Tacos either that are brewery cruisin' in town either. 🤷‍♂️

    What was your first Jeep?

An '88 Red/Gray XJ with the 4.0 I bought for $3500 (late 90s) and it had 250K+ miles on it. Actually drove beautifully and took me all over camping, skiing, exploring the PNW and four seasons, still regret getting rid of it. Ran great, but had a string of worn out parts, at the time I didn't...

F150 Tremor vs diesel Silverado ZR2?

We've been looking at the same comparison (ZR2 vs Tremor), here's some points I've come across that haven't been mentioned much, at least in detail and might help: ZR2's fuel tank is tiny at 24 gallons, although Titan makes a replacement tank that's 43 gallons for the Duramax 1500s. That would...

    12V Heating Pads? Any recommendations?

Ignik has 2 pads the Backside and the Backside XL which are smaller than the ^Flipside depending on how big you want, we've used the XL for various duties for the past year, including as a butt warmer in our Wrangler in MT winter and it heats super fast and hot. Comes with a small 12v barrel...

    Ford F150 w/Powerboost

Doesn't the Powerboost come with the Pro Power outlets by default? So you should have up to a 7.2kWH outlet in the bed, and at least a 2.4 or 2.0 kWH outlet at the lowest as part of the hybrid system. It's also pure sine wave from the specs I saw. Here's a good Q&A with Ford about the system.

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

Excited to see this build, we've been thinking of a 2nd OVRLND build on a full size flatbed or adding a flatbed to our Gladiator. Are you setting the camper directly on the bed or on top of side tool boxes?
