So after 2 failed attempts to get the torsen I called stage 3 to try to get the locker and that was going to take a month.
I went ahead and ordered a Yukon duragrip limited slip for $300and it will be here Monday. But it is the old school clutch type limited slip.
now i found a torsen $1000...
I thought about that but it was going to cost about the same and I had no way to tell what condition a takeoff would be in and now I already have the gears so I am most of the way down this path.
That is a group 27 on the passenger side frame. When the battery dies I will redo the mount for 2 group 24s tucked up a little higher. The battery could go up another inch or 2.
Do they work the same in reverse as forward?
looks like there are different versions of the Torsen for the old 8.8 rear and the 8.8 ifs but both are 31 spline
there is a truetrac for an a.8 rear but not one listed for the front.

I have everything else ready to go would hate to go through all the work of the re gear and not add a traction.
