I would definit'ly recommend hydro-assist with the bigger tires. I love mine and I'm only on 37's. End up doin' a lotta multi-point turns in these big rigs out on the trails and it sure makes it nice.
Did you get the grille and lights from MKM Customs? Looks like the same set-up I got. Hope your lights work better tho. Mine are worthless. I'm goin' back to stock so I can act'uly drive at night.
I'm runnin' the Swamps tunes on my junk ... real happy with it.
Thank you sir. In case you're ever bored ...

Reckon this here's as gooda place as any for an update since the camper Folks are the likely target market. I'm hereby, o'ficial'y givin' a huge...
Thanks for the help Folks!
Maybe I should be lookin' for performance '07 lights then??
I done had the grille swapped out to the newer model and it looks like maybe the headlights too?? Quite frankly, now I ain't sure what model year headlights they are and the receipt don't specify. You can...
Thanks for the compliments Folks. This rig's the culmination of many rigs I've built up over the years and I'm thinkin' I finally got me a keeper. Which is a good thang since I live in it too.
Don't be so hard on yourself sir. All my ex-wives used to try to console me by sayin' that size...
My stock headlights sucked. So I replaced them with some aftermarket LED units that I got on the cheap (don't even know the brand). They suck even more.
Anybody got some recommendations for some high end units?
Thanks.
Not on here.
Details have popped up in various places though. '02 with slightly modified 7.3L with 60k original miles. Highly modified auto transmission. Atlas 4-speed transfer case. Fully built Dynatrac ProRock60 and ProRock80 axles with ARB's. Hydro-assist high steer. 6" ICON springs...
On my way to the Blue Hawk Tavern in south Vegas to buy a phenomenal chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast, drove past a huge Campin' World store and seen an EarthRoamer sittin' on the lot.
I had certainly considered buyin' one rather than buildin' up a rig of my own but was scared off by the...
Dropped off the truck at Aluminess so they can develop a new 'severe-duty' bumper. Great folks there. Really lookin' forward to see what they come up with. Modifyin' the left swing-arm to handle the weight of the spare and incorporatin' a bike carrier right into the design. Modifyin' the...
The perfect answer.
How so? Takes my cordless drill less than a minute to run the top up on my Hallmark. Small price to pay for all the benefits so wisely listed above. Other than that ... just make sure to watch your head goin' out the door.
I've lived in two dif'rent top-of-the-line...
Great thread. Does last week count?
Replaced the glow plug relay so the thang'll start when it's cold.
Installed a set of 8" KC lights I picked up off Amazon for 282 bucks. (Note the brutal workin' conditions on the shore of Lake Mead.)
And then while makin' a high-speed baja run...
Long time ago, a buncha old wood had washed up on the shores of Lake Mead. I took advantage of this a few weeks ago.
Made quick work of it with my Stihl MS 201 C. Lightweight, low emission member of their professional series of saws. Compact with a 12" bar and a powerhead weight of less...
"Cold" is exactly right. Looks like livin' in a doctor's office. No thanks ... and I do live in mine.
Perfect for towin' a gooseneck horse trailer or for a hay spike on a ranch truck to grab a round bail ... but even then they're ugly.
Carry on.
I talked at length with the owners tryin' to cypher out a design for an interior shower in my Hallmark Milner. The options became too much of a dominant feature for the design. We gave up and and installed the standard outside unit.
I've since learned that if I can't stand buck nekkid next...
