A subtle note; the cute canine are wild dog. As in a pack of wild dog. ie. not dogs.
The breed was almost wiped out by settlers as they were shocked by their savageness. Having seen them kill it looked no worse than any other kill by any other carnivore.
Great photos.

Add in the "taking up the slack" factor and the 10' of cable on the hand powered unit is more like 6'. No one can keep the tension up on the setup with bare hands so the slack continues with each re rig.

It is NOT CO2 production, carbon dioxide we all worry about here. It is CO, carbon monoxide.

Interesting question as to why more people don't overland in northern Ontario. I live in the GTA and Pickle Lake is a 23 hour drive from here and still in Ontario.
I could make Florida or Texas in that time. The distances involved make these destinations way more than a weekend or even week...
Great idea. Hard to execute. That engine only runs with a complex, integrated computer controlling everything in the vehicle. Very tough to swap. I am unable to find anyone who makes a wiring harness to run that setup as a stand alone.
I would do the magnum swap with the overdrive...
