I've added D rings in the floor to haul my Polaris Ranger. Sometime before the NWOR I need to add a wheel chock for my dual sport motorcycle because this is the trailer I plan to take to the NWOR
This might be my next truck.... The ZR2 Bison, which will be similar to the AEV Concept that was at SEMA last year...

If it were my system, I'd connect all negatives to the shunt and not "frame ground" of the trailer. Trailer and vehicle frames are no very good "current carrying conductors"
