Lighten up....the lead engineer at Toyota verified this I am just passing along his statements....My GC does not have a world version that Jeep refuses to bring to NAFTA. Pretty obvious that Americans want luxury....ie Tacoma, Grand Cherokee, and F150.
Fair question...as you may know QT2 is a brake assisted traction control system. It does not have a limited slip or electronic lockers like QD2. QD2 has front and rear electronic lockers.
For 75% of what I do the QT2 system works fine. It is that other 25% that I needed a locker...rock...
The first thing to do is protect the DEF injector that is hanging below the vehicle and can be ripped off in mild offroading.......it is a design flaw or Jeep did not intend the GC to go offroad....anyway check out this thread for more details...
This...conventional suspension will provide you more options in the future for lifts, bigger tires etc. If you have no plans to keep the vehicle long term,,,say out of warranty I would get the air suspension.
I took out my seats in my Grand Cherokee and drove it around...no lights are anything. My wife would be pretty pissed though if I permanently removed the pax seat...may not send the best message. :Wow1:

my fully loaded WK CRD, full tank of diesel, 2 humans and a dog weighs exactly 6100 pounds. That is roughly 200 pounds over the Jeep stated max weight. I have upgraded hp/torque, suspension and brakes. I would not go much over 6100 pounds for me.
