Dang...after years of looking at these. i finally get a baofeng radio, and finally order the brackets and hours later a killer deal comes along on two blems and i miss it.
FYI, I ordered the cheapest cable i could find that would arrive in a decent time.This is not an FTDI chip cable.
I run Linux Mint 17.3 as my OS.
I had zero issues using the cheap cable. (after putting my user in the 'dialout' group as permitted to access serial port).

So, the jury is still out on the TRED PROs being as brittle as the original TREDS were known to be, it seems.

I have the ADD chromoly idler arm set, all new TREs, ball joints, and pitman arm ready to go in as soon as it is warm enough. I want to do the bearings too.

That rear awning should be done by Monday. Leaving for Florida to teach at an event on Tuesday.
I am also buying some Outdura awning material and will be sewing that up and replacing the tarps. I also will be making a corner piece that goes between these two awnings that will provide the option...

Driver's side, due to the rear door swinging to passenger side on my Montero. Mine is a DIY awning and I can quickly move it to the passenger side if need be.
