92 E250 5.8 driving me insane, talk me out of selling it!

I would get a can of throttle body cleaner, disassemble and clean the IAC & remove and clean the throttle body. While the TB is off check for wear in the body walls from the throttle plates. Check the EGR system for proper function.

You can have a tent manufactured to your specs as long as you meet the minimum order requirements. It's possible that the company you found is the manuf for iKamper. Neither of those are waterproof. The Rigid doesn't even have flaps over the lock holes. Weight is a factor.

Using tape on aluminum cap roof center seam?

If you use the washers you may need longer screws to get the same bite. Then you may as well go up one size so you are grabbing fresh material.

Using tape on aluminum cap roof center seam?

I've only used Eternabond on my campers with excellent results. The Gorilla Glue products that I have used all worked for their particular use. You could use the tape over the screws (make sure they are tight first). Or remove 1 screw at a time, put a dab of Dicor non-sag, non self-leveling...

Used RTT's - what to look for?

Great! The $1500 price is good if the tent is in good shape, has a good matress and anti-condensation mat and even better if it includes the annex.

Alaksan Camper 8' CO Cabover early 70s time capsule

Maybe you should call it a Project instead of a "Time capsule". Not everyone is a DIYer. To have this unit professionally repaired will cost serious $$. As for the sand and re-stain comment, your picture shows that the panel is shot and most likely the window framing will also be damaged. Yet...

Alaksan Camper 8' CO Cabover early 70s time capsule

It appears to me that your "time capsule" will need extensive repairs. Show us a written estimate from a shop to have that window area repaired properly. My guess is in $3-5000 range. I see caulk falling out of the seams. To re-caulk the entire unit approx $1000-1300. Have the appliances been...
