Hey! Welcome fellow AZ-er! Will be watching as Im interested too. I plan to build a M416. Also, very curious on how you do your adjustable RTT rack. I've seen a couple of good ones out there. I just need to find someone who can weld for me that I can afford!
I was there! Yay! It was a lot of cool stuff to see and do and lots of people. I too liked the location! Someone mentioned the family friendly environment and the play area. That was great for my son! Funny (?) thing that happened...a young girl found a garter snake, and my son is extremely into...
Has the Lifetime trailer changed or is this a different model. Im not liking the door on this one. I need to see it in person I guess. Anyone know anything about it?
Thanks for sharing! I would love to go back to Baja. Or even Puerto Penasco. But, my wife (the sensible one) wants there to be more than one family going. I can understand that. I just don't like it because I know no families willing to go! :( Maybe we should start a Expo group of people willing...
Ive always wondered the same things. I understand the need to save for the trips...but taking long periods off work is not an option unless I quit. And that doesn't seem very smart given today's economy. (I am NOT calling anyone "not smart"...just not smart for me) But believe me when I say I...
08 FJ here. I love it. By far the favorite car I've ever had. There are only a couple of things I "dis-like". That being the back seat. I have a 3 y.o. So, with only one car seat, its fine. If I had two...it'd be a little tougher to do comfortably.
Even though I average 20mpg, Id like more...
Tim...Cool bike ride!
Would love to go see those burros someday.
Shelley and I did Picacho several years ago. Very cool. And yes I remember it being steep. The cables were a little weird but I'm glad they were there! We were so hot after that hike. It was too late in the spring to do it...
Regarding the Flippacs...what is the tent material like? In comparison to an Eezi-Awn RTT, is it as thick? As waterproof? A lot of the pics I see... the material looks incredibly thin. Is it an illusion or...? Thanks!
Subscribing cuz I often wonder the same thing. Im very "green" when it comes to camping and especially concerning bears. Would love to hear from some experienced campers.
:lurk:
Bravo! Simply awesome! Great videos and pics as well as the write up! I would love to do a trip like that someday. But I will say: I had a little "tightening of the booty" when I saw the shelf road and the Jeep in the video. Yikes! It didnt look wide enough for the two of you!
