Fuel Tanks and Jerry Cans relating to Fuel Range

In my opinion, since you are almost doubling the stock tank with the 155L upgrade, it would be like adding almost 4 extra fuel cans to your rig. If you have been okay with 2 extra fuel cans, you're almost doubling that. Unless you have found that having the 80L + the extra 40L hasn't been...

How To Make Side FLARES For A VAN? Anyone Build Their Own?

The idea of a mold is great, if you want to make more than one set, otherwise it seems like a lot of extra work. The foam/glass seems like a good idea, as you'll get the strength of glass with the insulation of foam. Downside is it's bulkier since you have the thickness of the foam. I would...

Hydronic Radiant Floor Heat Reviews and Suggestions

You might be better off asking in the Van area of the forum, since it is more likely folks have used them in vans. https://forum.expeditionportal.com/forums/4wd-and-2wd-camper-vans-a-k-a-vanlife.58/

    The Wanderers build

Yeah, I have seen that before but I haven't tested it with mine. I have heard that you should always continue to use the same tape measure for your project and not switched between them, for this very reason. Think I am going to have to test mine now... :ROFLMAO:

coil-over springs versus leaf springs on E350 camper

Also you forgot the torsion bar front suspension. Our Advanced 4x4 GMC van has this (basically from a 1 ton truck parts but it's a custom torsion bar crossmember by them). Even as a 1 ton van, empty, this thing actually rides great. Each setup has pros and cons.

    eye opener about gvwr

Yeah, I have never understood people who buy 1/2 ton trucks to do 1 ton truck jobs.

2013 GMC Savana 3500 Overland Build

Absolutely. This is my primary build spot. IG is just a side thing but since it's easy to do updates in real time, it might get some a day or two before I post up here. :)

To those with chev express under hood light experience

Reviving an old thread. Read the Four Wheeler article and that's a great idea. I just ordered one off Ebay and ordered an LED replacement bulb. Should be a nice upgrade to the non working light. I like the idea I can get 18' of length and can turn it on/off.

WANTED: I Need Two Side Flares / Sleeping Pods for 1997-2025 Chevy Express / GMC Savana Van.

Yeah, I don't think Fiberine will sell them without installing them. I know they won't with their high tops.

2013 GMC Savana 3500 Overland Build

Did a little work this past weekend. Reinstalled the front headliner and added some sound deadening to the side walls. We drove it last night and it seems a little quieter inside. I also started a new IG page, if you want to follow along a little more in real time...

You also might try posting in the Van area, as this is Full Size, which is primarily trucks and larger SUV. https://forum.expeditionportal.com/forums/4wd-and-2wd-camper-vans-a-k-a-vanlife.58/

WANTED: I Need Two Side Flares / Sleeping Pods for 1997-2025 Chevy Express / GMC Savana Van.

Start building your own. Fiberine (who is the only ones making them for Chevy/GMC) just started making them earlier this year. I would be willing to bet there are less than a dozen vans with those installed, so finding a used set in not likely, unless the van was totaled. I keep thinking of...

WANTED: Fiberglass Hightop for 1997-2025 Chevy Express / GMC Savana EXTENDED Van

I just had a Fiberine 24" transit high top installed a few weeks back. With the reinforced roof, side panels, awning windows, installed with tax, it was closer to $8500. Total game changer and worth every penny. I looked for quite a while to find a used on for an Extended Chevy/GMC and...
