Like the others have said, run what you have. Hell my first was a Ford fairmont, put a lot of miles on that ******* heap and walked a lot when it broke down. Nice looking rig by the way
I think I might have to be sick that day. It really doesn't sound fun. I'm used to my 12 valve enough room to crawl around under the hood, hell my common tail isn't that bad. Ford filled the engine bay up, you are lucky to get your hand in there.
this is for all the Ford 6.0 owners, how hard are the injectors to do on a excursion. I know on the trucks they recommend pulling the cab, but I can't see it on the excursion. I will admit I don't know a thing bout psd only cummins, 12v and cr. Thanks
Who has them, and how do you like them. After getting stuck today and shoveling like a mad man I think it's time to invest in them. But was looking for reviews. Thanks
You might be in to something there. We are looking at adopting siblings (4) and the room would be nice, and a trailer well that would be the cherry on top.
Your excursion is looking great. The wife saw it and dropped a hint, you know you could trade your cummins in and get one of those. Got me thinking how would a dead elk fit in the back :) and would it fly with the powers that be? Anyway keep the pics coming and keep up the good work
I don't see a problem, I have seen our mechanics at my job change out tires on gravel trains pushing 100,000lbs gross. They just throw some 4x4 blocks so it doesn't sink and go at it.
I do miss it out there, got transferred out there for work, Dickinson still had that small town feel but it seemed once you got to watford city an into the oil patch it was a nitemare. Yea I heard they are getting slammed out there. I'm back in northern Michigan and we are getting dumped on.
