I use Melita disc filters for the percolator basket. Get them at grocery in the coffee aisle.

My vehicle comes standard with welded in tow points front and rear. Although I have a winch in the front bumper.

Not sure what you mean by instant tent. Have a specific name? Like all things it would probably come down to personal preference and price.

If I cannot put the coffee pot on the fire it is useless to me. There are a lot of fancy ones that keep it heated for hours but are not fire capable because of their outer coating that would probably melt. I have tried a French Press but it allowed the coffee to cool much too fast.

I use a Kidde extinguisher. Mounted behind driver seat. Probably not the best choice based on this thread but they are everywhere and easily replaceable.

I have seen PUs with a side rack originally for a ladder (mount either side of PU) so it is not a complete rack over the bed, might try that. I have a full Front Runner rack on my LR so not an issue for me as it fits exactly. You might even have to have something made just for your truck.

Finally FR has made a deflector that actually has merit. Had they made such a thing I would have not designed and mounted my own. I did mount new LED interior lights but they are so bright I have turned them off when the door is opened. Have to figure out a way to dim them down a bit.

I have had two vehicles with portals and they are fantastic. Did not think that they were available for LRs but it is a favorable improvement as far as clearance and reliability.

I have been using Tredrite tires for years. Had them on my Pinzgauer and my Jeep. No negative issues ever. My local Firestone dealer mounts them with no issue. Work well off road and on road. Mud, snow, rain. Delivered directly to my house.

There is a 410 pump action that is really small (less than 29 inches) and with PDX1 defender shells it seems to be a rather formidable weapon, easier to conceal than a full size 12 GA.

If you want something for comfort for your back I suggest you do not get anything old. They are not built for comfort, but are very utilitarian. Get something newer with more plush interior that translates to upgraded comfort. I have had many older vehicles although not an older LR. I have a 07...

Only issue I see with that arrangement is that it does make it difficult to set it directly on a fire in a pit or grill. Interesting idea though.

Got rid of stock bumper years ago. They do seem to make the rear more visible though.
