Here a picture of p400 I was taking about, if it doesn’t say P400 on the block, It’s not a true diesel technology 6.5. They stopped selling those motors to public last year, there are still some around with hummer parts suppliers, but they want $12.000 for the engine.

I have done extensive thinking with diesel options and here is why I did 6.2 again, Original rover diesel is great but, parts would be hard to find, rebuilt engine is 6000 or more in USA , and it would never make the same torque as the larger diesel, Cummins motor is great but even heavier...

Rovers engine/ trans is out, 6.2 is getting dressed, this engine is basically brand new, top to bottom. I took off the humvee oil pan to install truck oil pan, and look inside the engine, even crankshaft is brand new. Government spent my money to rebuild this engine, it’s nice to see my taxes...

You like independent suspension and insane ground clearance? Get an H1 Triple lockers, 18 inch clearance, stock 37 tires.

Yeah 32 is sweet spot, I have 37 stock on the hummer, it crawls ever anything, but it’s harder to balance, fuel economy drops, acceleration drops, noise goes up.
