Looking good! I love working on my 101A2 and like following your build as well.

    New M101A2 ¾ ton trailer

The trailer is great! It tows good behind the jeep. I don’t think I am going to use the canvas cover or the sides and bows so may sell those in the near future. I still plan on getting rid of the surge brakes and going to go with a receiver style hitch. That way I can run a ball or max-coupler...

    Jeep Battery Upgrade

I want to upgrade from my stock 2012 JKUR battery. I recently purchased a ARB 50 Fridge and plan on running it in the jeep as much as I can. I know Optima Batteries have gotten some bad reviews lately and I heard Die Hard platinum’s are the same as the Odyssey, is this correct? I want the...

JK front bucket seat in the rear

Such a cool write up! Thank you for the pictures i think if you wanted them to lean all the way forward, you could use the front seats out of a 2 door.

    New M101A2 ¾ ton trailer

Did I read somewhere, something about the military paint that comes on these trailers? Is it ok to paint over? Do I need to have it sand blasted?

    Roof Top Tents?

I know a guy with a M101a2 you could tow behind your Jeep. A small to med size trailer set up to sleep in or with a RTT attached seems to fit all of the needs. You can stay on the move, or drop it and call it home for several days. :smiley_drive:

Can a 2012 JKUR pull a Coleman Evolution E1 comfortably?

No load leveling hitch on mine, seems to do fine and the brakes on the trailer are great and when towing you don't get that scary feeling :wings:

Can a 2012 JKUR pull a Coleman Evolution E1 comfortably?

We have used our Banshee about 3 times since our purchase in July 2012. We bought brand new, lots of options and paid 10,500$ out the door. So 15K seems high to me. We got the BSV-1 I believe is the model, it has the small deck on front.

    Death by epoxy

Its not seam sealer but yeah that’s the stuff! It looks like some one squirted toothpaste all over, let it dry and then they painted the jeep, so its body color on top. When I chip away at it, the inside is black in color and porous like a pumus stone? Seems to be coming off ok just super hard a...

Can a 2012 JKUR pull a Coleman Evolution E1 comfortably?

I tow our Palomino Banshee BS-V1 (like the E-1) with our 2012 JKUR and it does fine, I added an electric brake controller and ordered a 7pin round harness for the jeep and wired it up. The brakes helped and so do the 5:13 gears in the jeep but I am also running 37” tires. I will say going up the...

    Death by epoxy

I am still working on my rear storage system in the back of my Jeep JKU. I have cleaned out the back, removed the two metal brackets that went to the modular storage area cover and started to sand things down to prep for some black paint. I was not sure what to do about the "expoy" Jeep laid...

    Drawer Handles

Yes something like that, but larger. Those are 2” – 3” in diameter and I think it would look small.

    Drawer Handles

Did a search, came up with a bunch of build threads, but no one really address the handle. I need a lockable one not just a pull. Will keep looking but if anyone has a pic or even a part #/Name I can look it up.
