It’s definitely not the military one but similar shape and size. Thinner material. The cap is a CA compliant c(r)ap. But it’s easily replaceable. Matches my rotopax caps. So there’s that.
I am buying two of them as I type this now. They’re only $13.99 each.
5.3 gallons, 20 L. Thank you Costco! Been deliberating on buying new cans for the new dirtbike, and camping gear like the generator. What a deal!
Southern California Costco shoppers be on the lookout!
guessing youre some sort of repo guy?
pintles are cool and strong and remind me of my army days but they are clunky, and easy to steal! exactly...
I am leaning toward the max coupler, but man it isn't cheap! also, I want to have a different drop hitch set up on the jeep. not a fan of the one...
i've always thought pintle hitches were cool but clunky. I definitely like the tighter tolerances of the max coupler, and i feel like it even looks stronger than the lock and roll hitch too...
awesome picture... hoping to take a few like this soon! the pig is at a shop now, getting all fixed up. wish i had the time to do it myself but i'll ride a lot more if i can get a jump start on the thing...
man what a string of bad luck! sorry to hear... batwings are supposed to come with a few replacement hinges right? at least you have that.
im STILL waiting to hear back from etrailer about my bag or parts! no hinges, no brackets, nada... plus the damage to the actual batwing backer itself, what...
Super excited! Wish I never sold my last bike. A Husky TR650.
BUT this thing needs some love. Leaking forks. Leaking coolant around the head. Super squishy rear shock. Most lines and cables are rough.
There’s a place called XRs Only a couple hours from me. Might take it there Friday. But...
definitely a good point... and kind of what i was thinking in my head and why i was leaning toward beefier springs instead. individually stronger. plumbed together would be preferable for ease of use but if the jeep is off camber it could get exponentially worse with air bags...
Man sounds like my exact future situation!
Would the air bags pose any problem you guys think with wheeling? Getting pinched or pulled? Something like the Rubicon Trail.
Did you go to BigBear for Fathers Day?! I was at Yellow Post 30! Hahaha I too was on a freakin mission to get our trailer ready to go by then. Although it was just miss to the trailer. Didn’t build it myself. Still working on the house and the wife was NOT please I’d be taking time away from...
Yeah the lady at the DMV almost screwed me money wise. She tried doing the paperwork as a full blown travel trailer (way more expensive). I wanted it listed as more of a cargo trailer (permanent plate, cheaper, etc). The pop out bed (my fault for telling her) was the tipping point. She didn’t...
Thanks everyone! All four are gone. Sold on here yesterday to a friend of a guy in San Diego. I like selling things to people who become new trail friends! Haha
Thanks for reading!
And some of my “mods!”
1. Installed the propane tank cover. Was not a simple task but looks great now.
2. Tried out the Nemo shower tent. Ended up with a cheaper and better IMHO one from Walmart! Two rooms, one for shower and one for toilet. Super simple pop up design.
3. And 4. The pop out...
