I've said it a hundred times - Motion X GPS HD is still the most flexible and useable of these apps.

I cant speak for the OP but the Griffin case has an anti-glare screen protector and it works well. I've been running an iPad in the truck for 2 years and you def need an anti glare.

I wasn't trying to be snippy about it. It's all good.

The theme of the thread is other useful apps not offroad apps.

Filemaker Pro 12 has a free iPad app (FilemakerGo) that can use databases created on the desktop on the iPad. I'm currently building a maintenance DB. There are other apps that do some of the things as my DB will do, but not quite as specific or custom.

I have it. I like it as an adjunct to my other apps. It's nice to have onboard maps with out the need to download. I find as a navigator its not great and prefer Motion X GPS HD.

Must be a load thing 2 ply vs 3. I've sliced more than a few tires that way but thats not a sidewall ply thing more outer carcass thing. Sent from my iPad 2 using Tapatalk

I keep seeing various threads around the Internet about DuraTrac sidewalls being suspect but it's never a thread that actually shows the tire having a problem. The threads seem to say "I heard they are a problem" but no evidence of such. Why is a DuraTrac 3 ply side wall less good than a BFG...

The answer seems obvious - you love BC navi so get a 7" android tablet.

Most of the LX470 crowd on Mud bazitch about the AHC (which was an option on later Land Cruisers) because of the load carrying. They all want to put heavy offroad bumpers and armor on, which exceeds the capability of the AHC.
