    HUMMER H2 Overland truck

"Sleeper" I dont agree with. Looks right at home where it should be to me. Seeing these in the city going to Starbucks is. What I think, made public opinion of them what it was at the time they were prevalent. It seems out of place in the city. Always like it should just have dipped in for...

Fuel Tanks and Jerry Cans relating to Fuel Range

Frontier was made in Mississippi, for the US market. Just sayin. It's a little like Madonna having a British accent while she was with Guy Ritchie. I'm just being a little coy and giving you a ribbing. But then again... This explains your situation. Not why you're doing your calculations...

Fuel Tanks and Jerry Cans relating to Fuel Range

Ah, but that "is this too much weight" question is best bandied about over in that GVWR thread. Which one is that...?

Fuel Tanks and Jerry Cans relating to Fuel Range

Not to be ignorant, but your profile states you are in Colorado. That's in the US. Why are we talking in liters when all US capacities are listed in gallons? Makin'me have to do math just to do more math, ha ha

    1986 GMC S-15

I just this hour saw one of these in burgundy at a fast food place while I was on my lunch break. Waited around to chat with the owner a bit. His was a 2wd Sonoma SLE. Something elegant in its simplicity

    Abandoned/derelict sites

That last picture is telling. Thise folks transport both people and gear all over that area in no-frills GM full size SUV's. We see threa after thread saying bemoaning the lack of aftermarket for these trucks, but they dont need anything more to do the job at hand. They just dont look all...

    eye opener about gvwr

Combined weight of passengers and cargo 1072? I have to figure the fact that LT rated E tires listed on the sticker have a little something ti do with that. Not sure why they are listed on a 1500 series truck, as they may not be needed but they sure are heavy. I bet with P rated street tires...

    Bronco - Jeep - 4Runner ???

One off builds of anything, be it a truck, or a sandwich, throws a wrench in any machine on any continent. You hit the nail on the head. That's why they are reliable. They develop a Kan-ban board of what will work and they do not deviate from it.

    NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE

Is it a capacity issue? Question of can a fire break out? The perceived benefits seem to diminish or crescendo based on a whole lot of "ifs" and complex calculations and wait times for simple trips in a gasser. Still interested in the new Prius Prime, though

    Bronco - Jeep - 4Runner ???

Like the idea of a Jeep. Like the look of the Bronco. But you said reliable, and that'd be the Toyota of the bunch

Any full size regular cab 6.5 bed trucks?

These K2 version GM K1500 trucks use a coil over Independent front suspension that generally handle very well. Lost of comfort. Unless you lift them without changing out the upper control arms or ride hard tires without towing/hauling. I BFG A/T K02's, load range C, and the ride is good as...

Any full size regular cab 6.5 bed trucks?

Dan I dont know where you get the idea these trucks arent cool. I love my truck. Gets me anywhere, no drama, no posing. Granted I have the 2014 GMC Sierra DOUBLE Cab with 6 and a half foot bed. But those single cabs, 6.5 with a cap on them remind me of the best vehicle in the world - a full...

    chevy trail blazer

Some guy out here lifted an older ok ne of these, bigger tires on it. All black. Looks pretty good, reminds me of a WJ if I squint at a distance. Dont know what he had to do to get it that way, though

Sweet ride. Those steelies look like they came off of the T1 model (2019 and up) I've got the 7 spoke work truck steelies that go back a few generations. Nice choice. Adds a rugged vibe as opposed to the bling of GM alloys
