Alright, I'm getting close to a big decision, the paint job. I thought about just rattle can spraying the shell in a textured black to save money, but I've received quite a few comments like "you've put too much time in this to settle for a subpar paint finish". So I guess I have to go big, or...

I'm hoping to come up with easily removable interior furniture and was thinking about a Beg Rug to cover the bed. Part of me loves the padded interior and clean look of the Beg Rug. The other part of me wants to wash out the bed, after camping/mountain biking/hunting trips. It sure looks nice...
It took me a while to align the hinges, but it works well, even with the curve. I still plan on cutting the lower part of the shell for a lower window frame, but it's Miller time. :)

I'm still looking for some OEM looking latches for the roof top tent. A number of people on the forum suggested against this because the OEM hood latches didn't have adjustability for the compressed gaskets. What about these? They have the Jeep look, and some adjustability.

I think the tent material works about the same as an X brace from paracord and has too much give. I definitely will need to make a more solid stabilizer from panels or metal tubing. It might have worked with a lower tent, but mine is so tall, it amplifies the racking.
