Thanks for all the kind words Vandit!
I do plan to start a build thread for the Transit AWD. It might be a little different, and likely quicker to the end result.
The end result being that this build is going to be a "production ready model camper van".
As a result of the numerous conversions I...
Back again with an update!
I put a deposit on a 2020 Ford Transit AWD so I need to kick up the efforts to find this van a new owner.
I made this video to help potential buyers with the visuals.
There is one more segment I want to shoot again, because I cant find it, but thought I would debut it...
Nice, 14 passenger...you can order with less seats
I found out yesterday that the leather wrapped steering wheel that was showing on the demo's, yet not showing as an option, comes with either leather seating or adaptive cruise.
I changed my order yesterday (since it isn't pulled for scheduling...
The Kansas dealer (Matt Ford, 24 miles from the factory) I ordered through already has vans pulled for scheduling first couple weeks of November so is expecting 3 months. He does have ordered vans not pulled because of holds on 2.0 Diesel and something else
I was quoted by local Boise dealers...
I went and looked on the build and price. Cargo's were available with eco and 3.73 but not passenger.
2020 passenger vans are available with eco and 3.73
I think Chris is getting a passenger (X9C chassis?) and photomike has a cargo.
I did look into it, "on the 2020 cargo van, the 4 way seats with manual swivel for driver & passenger is $1385 MSRP (21T). Those same seats in the 2-way manual driver/passenger is $115 MSRP (21C). That would seem to show adding the swivels would cost $1270 for BOTH seats. That would make the...
Yes, rebates apply at time of delivery. New rebates are to be released 9/30 I think.

I just ordered a 2020 Ford Transit AWD
More motivated than ever to sell.
I weighed the van weekend before last. 8200lbs no occupants, full fuel (40g) and full fridge. So it gained 400lbs with top install.
@Highlander they are also on pages 3-4 in this thread.
I placed my order.
2020 148" Mid roof AWD Cargo, ecoboost, Magnetic, managed to keep it under a $50K MSRP, now bring on those rebates!
I can post my build if interested.
Anyone want to buy an e-series 4x4?
I had good luck with https://www.mynesting.com/
I was paying for it though, using their bundle pricing.
It was very good at maximizing yield with many small odd shaped wood parts eventually cut on a CNC router.
Single use looks to be $7.50 these days.
I was literally just contemplating sending you a DM to inquire if you made any frames for 2 person fold down seats like this.
I was imagining something that has removable panels that could be taken to the upholster to transform into a seat base/back and bolt on to the frame, storage in the box...
Here is a potentially worrisome tidbit
The AWD Transits get the HD front axle.
These are the wheels that come with the HD front axle.
They look suspiciously like the DRW wheels here
So instead of adding wider hubs on the front a’la e series 2wd. They use the same AWD axle on both and just...
I happened to catch this banner in a video, it was on for a whole 3 seconds.
It says
"up to 100% traction to the front wheels"
"Selectable drive modes"
