We've seen this time and time again, small company X produces an innovative product, and then Smittybilt comes in and produces a cheaper rip-off.
That doesn't bother anyone else?
I'm a big fan of Maxtrax, they're lightweight and they really work. They don't replace a winch, but they'll get you unstuck quickly in most situations. IMHO they still aren't a replacement for a winch.
I'm a huge fan of the SkyDome. It's a great alternative to a roof top tent and I grab it each and every time I do a local trip.
