Ok I just worked out not to reply on the plane and not send until the next day. Ignore the previous post.
Also Chris my van is an E350 and it has hydro boost.
OK I need to pickup a TW200 from LA next week and I will have a rental Prius. Do you think that it will fit if I pull the forks and rear wheel plus turn the handle bars??? Anyone have a spare bodybag to put it in :sombrero:

OK post up what you find. If its yours let people know. Also please copy the craigslist/ebay/ad details into the thread. And in the heading how about putting type, location and price.
How about a "Garage" section for mods (lighting, intercom, storage) equipment (workshop, tools, trailers) etc that covers all the stuff that is not specific enough for the bike specific groups but not just general conversation.
Must have 2 stickies: a link to your tire test in OJ and another...
You can get a GS911 for reading/resetting codes and performing some testing ( http://www.gs911usa.com/ ). This is a portable unit that you can take on the road with you. Other than that I find the maintenance costs of my 4 BMW bikes very reasonable. But I do all my own work so I cannot comment...
OK I have to ask. Now you have had a good play with it!!!!! How much of the AZ traverse could be done on 3 wheels (remembering I have the grossly more expensive BMW roundel on mine with only 1 wheel drive)?
After seeing your Nissan and trailer I have no doubt this will be a great build. And thanks for putting up with the generator as I had the essential 5 espressos each morning.
I am also very interested in seeing what you do for the WVO conversion.
Check out the Yamaha TW200. Light weight, big tires for the soft stuff and enough inroad manners for grocery duty. An other alternative if only using as a short haul solo grocery getter is the old CT90 or CT110 Hondas.
Both of these have a cult following and parts are available worldwide.
Milk crate or pelican case. Or any good bike shop will have a tank bag or tail bag to suit. Craigslist is also your friend.
Also I prefer hose clamps over cable ties for holding them on.
Welcome to the hack club. They are fun and out of 5 bikes and 2 vehicles it is the one I head to first every time except if I want something in a hurry. There will always be someone stopping to talk to you about it.
Make sure you have a play with the kick start. I have not bothered with a...

I may be a fussy bugger but with the sportsmobile using all available space it was bearable for up to a week. We had a poptop and it was worth getting my fat ******** into the penthouse bed for more leg room. The TurtleTop sucked even for a night.
As for the 3-6 months. When we made the decision...
