Just remember it will be a rare day when your panel produces the exact power level it supposedly was designed to do. Mike is right, more is better. Your controller will shut off power to your batteries when they reach capacity.
thanks for the pics and suggestions guys/gals. I'm probably going to try Rokstraps. They are used for all kinds of things in the ADV moto world. I used them to hold my Dometic 65 L frig/freezer in Beastie. They come in various lengths and should provide enough tension to do the job. I'll...
I bought the first of these Mission Overlands. I asked Mark if he could shorten the passenger side storage cabinets by about two inches. By doing so, we could keep our PETT Portapotty installed pretty much permanently between the end of the bed and that cabinet. Believe there are a couple of...
Anyone have up to date info on the fires in Arizona? The southwest is in something like the 20th year of a disasterous drought. One of the worst in centuries.

I reposted your pic file so it would be easier to open. Hope you don't mind. What an exceptional idea! Much better the the plan I had to use magnetic tape and magnets along with some bug screening. Thank you for...
I'm still thinking about this! BTW Chris, wish you the very best! Had a great time with you and Christophe a couple years back when you two showed a few of us life timers the area around Prescott.
There is a BLM campsite on the west side of Comb Ridge that is just incredible, especially at sunset. this is a great place to park Beastie and explore for Anasazi ruins day after day.
Thinking about places I want to go back to. Like Canyonlands this time of the year. Just south of the NP entrance and pre-Beastie, but I want to get back there. Very thankful that we have public lands we can camp on.
Those holes seem to be right in alignment with the split in the metal edging in the first photo and the rivet in the second. I'm guessing the fabric is tearing at those points due to pressure when the top is dropped down and compresses the fabric against those two points. I have one similar...
Chris,
I really like this setup! Question; knowing you are taller than me and with a back in the same condition as mine, how was the bed? Long enough? Comfortable enough? What did you do for cooking?
Dale
Mike, let us know if you ever weigh your trailer. I'd love to know what it is compared to my relatively stock one. Again, I sure wish I had that V8 you have nestled in your LC.

I agree! Mark starting installing a shower setup on Beastie. I have everything but the curtain. I will be installing something similar to yours once I get the trailer back down here. Having 37 gallons of fresh water also makes all this possible. That was one of the selling points for Nanc...
Mike,
There is a trick to it. First of all, start at the front and fold, then do the same at the rear. Trying to roll it up sucks. There is a great YouTube video about how to do it. If you can't locate it, let me know and I'll try to dig it up.
I complained to Darche and requested a...
Really looks good Mike. I just may have to get one of those. Are you keeping the original on the driver's side? did you make a cut in the top plate to fit it? That's what it looks like in the pics.
