Sonoran steel 1.2
Sven,
Welcome to the 4runner family, you are going to love your rig. Just a quick endorsement of the SS 1.2 lift. It is a great lift. I chose this lift because the kind of wheeling here in KS is quited different than that of CA...I got mine installed a couple of months...
All,
I am considering getting an expedition type trailer with the ability to haul around a ZTR (Zero turn radius mower/ ATV). My research has led me to a modular trailer system like that of the Outlander Sherpa II. Anyway, my question is regarding a trailer braking system. Specifically, is...
Welcome aboard...
Your build-up plan is pretty much what I did to mine...Stubbs HD-SKOs; Sonoran Steel system 1.2, Armorology bumpers front and rear...
Get your popcorn and your checkbook ready...
Check out my posts for more specifics.

Well I am back again with some new pics of the rig. I have waited until my tires wore out, then I pulled the trigger. I decided to go with Sonoran Steel's system #1.2 lift; due to the meticulous R&D, as well as Steve's patience throughout this whole process. He was gracious enough to answer...
Just thinkin' outside the box...
Tejas,
I was going to install a snorkel on my '98 4runner, but I was going to get the body (following all of the holes being cut out) sprayed with an Ameraguard coating (similar to Rhino-lining). I figure that this would protect the body further from the...
So this is how Shrockworks addresses the problem...
Bummer about the time it took to mount this. The main problem in making bumpers for the 4runner is that they are not all the same. ARB, TJM and Shrockworks address this problem by making mounting systems that will generally work in most...
These sliders are the bomb...
I have these same sliders on my rig. You will be glad how stout these are. Have you considered coating these?

Here ya go!...
These lights do the trick when I am in the field...They are great and you can add some additional 'sleeves' to direct them at an angle. I don't remember what the greatest angle is though...
Enjoy,
BWJ
When I was young, I always wanted to mod a 4x4 vehicle. I never had the time or money. Now, I have both. I chose to do my own slider project because I could not find a product that met my needs. Your are right, this is not apples to apples. But it is a sense of satisfaction to me and it was...
My Stubbs custom sliders were...
Sliders from Stubbs welding = $350
5 Bar aluminum plating from Cutsmetal = $60
Welding of the sliders = $40
Ameraguard coating = $150
Satisfaction of a project done My way = PRICELESS
Go with Armorology...
I would have to recommend Armorology: sorry about the size of the pics...
I saw this bumper first hand when I dropped my rig off. This thing was a beauty...Go check out the goods at www.Armorology.com

My vote is lightforce...
I have had the Lightforce Stryker 170s for about a year, and they are AWESOME. My next upgrade will be to convert these to HID someday. These are all that I need.

Back again, and this time it’s the slider project that was completed. Why a ‘project’? Well, the time that was required made it so. Every step was carefully planned and realized with the help of talented professionals. Big props to the pros mentioned in this post, because everyone...
Adrenaline503,
These are Optilux work lights. 37.5W halogen bulbs in a free form reflector. These things also have 10 degree 'wedge' washers so you can angle them down toward the ground. I got them at rallylights. Here is the link...
