Received my ham call sign CA lic. plate the other day. Directly below the call sign in small red letters is "dmv.ca.gov"
Kinda looks like a gov't plate on a Jeep?
I installed some air quick disconnects in my water lines on the trailer and noticed the water turning rusty color. My well water guy suggested I use brass ones, so I replaced them only to find they have steal bearings inside, more rust.
Is there a fix for this or should I just eliminate them...
Tator tots make excellent hashbrowns, especially the onion flavored ones. Once they start cooking with a little oil and butter in a frying pan, just chop them up a little. There easy to pack, you can take as many as you want.
Would like to pickup an small emergency generator which I will carry on my trailer. I need to at least power my home fridge which is about 18 CU FT. It's my understanding that it consumes about 800 watts.
How many watts does a 12-2 or 10-2 extension cord consume per 25 FT ?
Thanks
Doug
Often I take chili dogs as a camping meal, how about you?
What do you use?

Canned chili or homemade
Cheese
Buns
How about some recipes?
Awhile back someone was looking for web lawn chairs and I can't remember which thread. I just bought a nice one at CVS today for $15 and a nice 1" thick pad for $13.
I would take a photo only I'm out of storage space. They are still as comfy as they use to be.

After recentlly losing a bit of weight I am very subject to being cold in the evening. I purchased a new military jacket with liner which I like pretty well ( just like the one I was issued when I did my time).
