My goal was to buy/build a turbo-diesel, 4x4, manual transmission... Motorhome. Needle in a haystack. I can't afford an EarthRoamer... and I don't like Ford Powerstrokes. So, what I found was the Xplorer Xcursion. Xplorer built about 25 of these high-end Xcursions before going out of...
Not mine.
These are very well built motorhomes. This one has a bit of rear overhang, but custom springs and some super single 35" tires and it'd get you to a lot of places. Pretty sure it's a gasser.

edit for better content:

EDIT: price reduced: $18,500 obo (price is pretty firmish)

Over the past few years I've slowly become a diesel-nut. My first was a 1985 FJ60 that I swapped an Onan L634T (old old UPS truck engine) into. Was a nice little motor, but I wasn't totally satisfied. It actually pulled better then my friend Luke's 12HT-powered HJ61.
Cruiser's aside, I also...
crossposting this. Cummins powered 80 was stolen last night in Bay Area. Not mine, good friend's. Link to post with picts: http://tinyurl.com/5kbdxy
