I guess I should start a build thread. I tried to buy this Actros from a truck broker who had it on the market in the fall of 2023. I was not able to get anywhere with the seller at the time. I spent most of the 2024 looking for trucks in Europe, including 6 weeks driving all over the place...
I bought this truck in January, and now I'm changing directions so it's for sale. I've been going down the Euro truck rabbit hole this year. Also have a MAN 19.372 i could sell in similar condition.
It's in Germany currently at Box Manufaktur and should be shipping out in about 60 days...
Does anyone know how to get access to accurate build details and parts from a VIN. I think there was an EPC page, but i'm not sure it's it's open still. I've been looking at truck and it's really hard to figure out the gears and specs from listings.
Thanks

Just curious if i can buy the panels and build a basic habitat myself. I'm seeing prices of bare habitats in the $30,000-$45,000 range. Are materials really so high now?
I'm considering the SK / AK / Actros (NOT UNIMOG) . I've got tons of questions
I keep seeing these 1990s Mercedes trucks on European sites and I'd love to get some feedback. They look really cool and have that neat euro vibe, but are the costs too high for the coolness. There's hardly...
FYI: Just noticed a unimog for sale in Salem, OR this week. Parked on a corner mini lot. Don't know anything else about it, but it looks like a fun toy. Send me a pm if you want more info and I can get the phone number.
I just started a new project and thought I would do a build thread here instead of the Land Cruiser site. I decided to do new GPS system based on a netbook, holux gps and a custom 3 key input system.
Here is a quick breakdown:
1) Asus Eee 1000 with 40gb Solid State Drive
2) Holux GPS slave...
Price: About $250 each or so depending on auction. Would end early for local expo buyers! I'm in Oregon.
I just thought I would post these here for any local people that might have an interest. Both of these are mine and I have them on Ebay. They both have Oregon National Geographic TOPO...
