Interior / Dash Mounts for Hardware

I have found the Bulletpoint more secure. With them using a wing nut at each connection point to secure the mount, where the ram uses one in the middle. That being said ball size does matter, the larger the ball / the more surface area, the more it will be able to hold before it moves. Over the...

I also use the 700i and run it on the bullet point long arm with the Garmin RAM mount and there is no movement or vibration what so ever. It is mounted to the bullet point dash mount for my truck. Shawn

Interior / Dash Mounts for Hardware

Bullet point makes adapters for RAM balls. I have used both and bullet point is 100% more secure and easier to use. Also it is more compact. With the adapters I didnt need to buy all new balls/cases for stuff. It works well, and like ober27 said the dash mounts are top notch. Shawn

Milwaukee PACKOUTs (and competing systems) for modular storage?

I use them and am in the process of building a slide out drawer for my packouts. Defiantly not the cheapest solution, especially in Canada, but I already used them for my tools. So I didn't see a reason to switch platforms. Shawn

    Connectors for interior systems

Just FYI if you look on the actual lever terminal it states only 20 to 12 gauge. I would suggest not going over what is on the terminal it self. I don't know if it was just a miss print on the box or what, just check your terminals if you go that route Shawn

    Overland Solar Tracking System

What is going to kill this product is having to have 185lbs strapped to your roof. You can get a lot of solar panels for 185lbs. Especially for "overland", this will be hell on your CG off road, even more so on an already tall van Shawn

    Electric Chain Saw

Just an fyi on the dewalt saw from the project farm video. They have a version 2.0 now that addresses the issues with the 1.0 one now IIRC, that vid is 2 years old. The big one being they now have metal falling spikes on the saws. Which is nice as I, and I assume many others, are trapped in the...
