Hey WJ guys. Just got one have a few questions.

Hey all, I’m a lifelong Jeep owner, but I’ve only ever had 2 door wranglers and one beater XJ. I wanted something a little bigger this time and a 4 door wrangler is out of the budget. I found an 03 Laredo with 92,000 with full service history since new. Trans fluid changed every 30k religiously...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

I’m back in the Jeep game. Lifelong wrangler owner, all two doors. This time I wanted something larger but budget doesn’t allow a 4 door, so I got this! Mostly barebones, but it’s got the 4.0 and part time transfer case. Best part is it’s an 03 with only 92k and full service records from new and...

School me on full size Monteros

Easily actually. Only stuff I did was ball joints, wheel bearings, cv joints, tune ups and oil changes. It had a mild lift and went off road but it racked up the miles doing commuter duties 100 miles a day 6 days a week. Still had the original clutch in it as well.

School me on full size Monteros

Ok, 7 months ago I sold a very capable and fun JK wrangler that got long in the tooth at 200k. Got a daily with intention of looking for a winter 4x4/wheeler/expo road trip mobile. Wasn’t really looking at Mitsubishi to be honest, been looking at suburbans and 4Runners and jeeps. I ran across an...

    2014 Fiat 500C GQ Edition

Good to see I’m not the only one considering fiat. I’m looking for a 500x for the extra room though and awd capability. Was considering a regular 500 for a dd (I have a Jeep for real off road work) but the 500x looks like a nice compromise with more room and awd for snow.

Odd choice Overlander? Fiat 500x trekking.

Yea man, I’m a die hard lifelong Jeep guy. Have had plenty of cjs and wranglers. I have 190,000 on my wrangler and have only done ball joints, cv joints and u joints in terms of non standard maintenance. Hell its got the original clutch in it still. I’m keeping my wrangler forever, but it’s time...

Odd choice Overlander? Fiat 500x trekking.

When I say boring with the forester, I mean interior and exterior styling. I have no doubt it’s much more fun to drive then a fiat but it looks like every other car on the road. I didn’t take offense I’m just genuinely curious, so few own them it’s hard to get an opinion. People on fiat forums...

Odd choice Overlander? Fiat 500x trekking.

You have experience with this or just repeating the anecdotes everyone else does about fiat. It’s the same exact engine and transmission as in every Jeep renegade, awd system is the same. Reliability hasn’t been an issue for fiat, fit and finish, sure it’s a bit cheap inside and rattly but I’m...

Odd choice Overlander? Fiat 500x trekking.

So I’m looking for a softroader/new daily driver that can still hold its own on mild dirt roads and sandy beaches. I have a wrangler for real off-roading. Budgets under 15k so that puts me in used Jeep renegade territory but it also opens up its Italian twin the 500x. It’s functionality...
