Back to shopping for an off road trailer. If anyone has other suggestions, would love to hear. There's a lot of interesting trailers but many miss the sub 3000lbs mark for the Wrangler platform. My Wrangler is outfitted with tons of weight on the vehicle so something as close to 2000lbs as...
I use my square drop off road, last trip was 700 miles off road. Super fine dust. Got everywhere. Had to lay a sheet over the bed before heading out everyday just to keep the bedding from being covered.
I have over the last two seasons towed a small 8' off road square drop trailer. It's been my bed and back pack of sorts. I love having the additional storage as the Wrangler gets used to carry myself, my wife and daughter and finally dog. So the seats are taken up by people and dog, doesn't...
Going to be following this thread. Whats the most technical trail you have taken this on? Last trip I took was nearly 700 miles off road. Towed an 8' box behind me and had to cut a few fallen trees to clear the turn.
Looking for a utility trailer in lieu of buying a rack for a RTT. Driving a Wrangler and what I have come up with is around $2k for a rack on the top if I want a RTT. Looking to spend that towards a solid trailer. I'll add what I need when I need it. Going to be a support vehicle this summer for...
WTB pull behind, camping/4x4 off road PNW. Would also consider a square drop but don't have much of a budget for a full camper. Send me what you have. bshillam@hotmail.com Cheers.
Looking for something located in Washington or Oregon/closer to home.
I don’t want something from China when we have such great examples of units that will outlast the vehicle. Like supporting them and their staff as they support us so generously.
Depending on turbo set up a slight lag but some don't notice. Most of the lag has been taken away by dual turbos or variable vanes. A modern diesel is clean, gets great mileage and has gobs of low end power. I have been watching the diesel Wrangler release since swaps were coming in. Can't wait...
I am happy to report I found a solid platform to build from. I searched roughly four states and found a one owner AZ owned, Lexus cared for LX 470 w/ just a tad over 100k. I felt it was a little needle in a haystack, bought it sight unseen, flew in on Wednesday and drove it home. Really looking...
I think I am leaning on something hard walled and flipping the leaf springs/replacing shocks and calling it good. Just not too thrilled with a pop up as I am planning on camping in bear country too.
Just scored a sweet LX I am flying out of state to pick up. Now thinking about summer plans and would really like to get off the beaten path. Parks are really getting full these days with the economy picking up speed. I have a family of three and have several criteria, needs permeant beds for...
After using a Trooper last year through the winter I am back on the hunt again for another LC here on the West Coast. I'd prefer a 100 but would also consider a nice example of an 80. My budget is going to be south of $10k as this is a family winter vehicle (3rd car) the wife drives a sports car...
Maybe someone here can help w/ locating a part I need. Its missing the gas pedal pad. Funny I think to myself, no big deal I'll just hit the buy it now button. Yeah right. I'd even be ok w/ a generic universal but it appears they all need the pad to mount to. Anyone know the part or where I...
